Udaipur 80: Farewell

Last day just enjoying the beautiful view. Without a doubt, Udaipur is one of the nicest cities in India, if I ever come back to India, you can be sure I'll come back to Udaipur!!

Udaipur Day 79: Ranakpur

QDay trip to Ranakpur, one of the most impressive temples so far, though 3 hours to get there and 3 hours to get back!!! "Octopussy" movie night in the evening!!

Dia d'excursió a Ranakpur, un dels temples mes impressionants que he vist fins ara, tot i que trigués 3 hores en arribar-hi i 3 hores mes ler tornar!!! Al vespre visualització de "Octopussy".

Pushkar Day 81: Holi Lake, climbing up to monkey temple

Pushkar is one of the stops not on many guides, but that everybody is talking about when you get near, so a stop was necessary to see all the fuss. It's a nice backpacking place (many backpackers gather here), for some good food and relax ambient!! However it's also a trap, it's a backpacking place with only backpackers and hippie stores selling everything they can!! Nice trip for the sunset up to monkey temple (they are always pretty high up th mountain)!!

Pushkar es una de les parada es que no surt massa a les guies pero que tothom en parla quan arribes a la vora, així que una parada era necessària per veure de que anava la cosa. Es un lloc de backpackers ben maco (molts backpackers es troben aquí), per bon menjar i ambient relaxat!! De tota manera també es una trampa, es un punt de reunió de backpackers amb només backpackers i botigues hippies venent tot l q poden!! Bonica excursió per veure la postal e sol a monkey temple (sempre estant ben amunt una muntanya)!!!

Udaipur Day 78: Sightseeing

Udaipur crec que puc dir que es la ciutat mes maca que he vist fins ara a l'India (i mira que n'he vist!!). Està cituada en al llac Picola, i el centre històric (on estem els guiris) es preciós amb un munt d terrasses veient el palau on menjar bon menjar indi!! No només això sinó que es net i tranquil!! Pero lo millor es la localització de la ciutat, el palau (visitat avui) no està mal (crec que fins ara el meu palau preferit per dins ha estat el de Mysore), pero la vista.....no tinc paraules. Aquí us deixo les fotos de la posta de sol perquè jutgeu!!! Li dedico aquest post a la meva bona amiga Susanna, ja que aquí a Udaipur es on es va filmar una escena de "Octopussy" (peli de James Bond), tot i que fan veure que es Delhi!! Els hi fa tanta il·lusió que la passen cada nit a cada hotel!!!!

I think I can say that Udaipur is the nicest city I have seen so far in India (and I have seen a few!,). Its located in lake Picola, and the city centre (where tourists are located) is beautiful with many rooftops overseeing the palace with good Indian food!! Not only this but it's clean and calm!!! But the best is the location of the city, the palace (visited today) is ok (I think the palace I have liked the most from the inside was the one in Mysore), but the view.......speechless. Here are the pictures of the sunset so you can judge for yourselves!! I dedicate this post to my good friend Susanna, as here in Udaipur is where one scene of "Octopussy" (James Bond movie) was filmed, although they pretend it to be Delhi!! They are so proud of it that they show it every night in every hotel!!!

Udaipur Day 76: Best moment to arrive

After 7 hours and a half in a bus (after India everything will seem near back home), arrive in the best moment in Udaipur when the festival was finishing!!

Després de. 7 hores i mitja d'autobus (després de la Índia tot em semblara aprop quan torni a casa), arribar al millor moment a Udaipur quan s'acabava el festival!! Una mena de gegants a petita escala pero que també fan ballar i que només carreguen done!!
