Banda Islands Day 240: Second Last Day

Volíem marxar ahir pero al final no vam conseguir passar de la llista d'espera de l'avió!! Aixi que com que calia esperar un dia mes a Banda, aprofitem el dia per fer un parell d'immersions mes, i com a la tarda el Gurung Api sembla despejat ens afanyem per veure finalment la vista preuada (tot i rebentats mes que la pena!!!). Últim sopar i preparats per agafar el ferry demà!!!

We wanted to leave yesterday but we never made it past the waiting list for the flight!! So as we had to wait and extra day in Banda, we use it for a couple more dives and climbing Gurung API in the afternoon as it looked clear this time (although exhausted definately worth it!!). Last dinner and ready for tomorrow's ferry!!!,

Banda Islands Day 239: Back in Banda Neira

Es graciós l'efecte d'aquestos illes sobre teu!! Despres de tants dies sense wifi ja no la trobes a faltar i quan arribes al poblet tranquil que et va semblar l primer dia Banda Neira, despres de passejar per les altres sembla una megàpolis!!! Dia de relax, visita de museu i fortificació (finalment trobem a l'home que te les claus, o algu que el coneix com a mínim)!!

It's funny the effect that these islands have on you!! After so many days without wifi you don't miss it any more and when you get back to the chilled town that you felt at the beginning was Banda Neira, after being in the other island you feel it like a megapolis!!! Day of relax, visiting museum and fortification (we finally find the guy with the keys, or somebody that knows him at least)!!

Banda Islands Day 238: Nailaka Island (Rhun)

L'Abdullah ens espera ben emocionat al mati per portar-nos a la illa de Nailaka!! Nosaltres no entem perque cal sortir tant d'hora pero ens i unim!! Arribem a una illeta a la costa de Rhun on cal anar d'hora abans no baixi la marea i ens passem tot el mati allà contemplant la vista!! Acabem fent un passeig per la illa i creuant per la costa cap a Rhun un cop baixa la marea!! Ben torrats ens venen a buscar ja que no volem tornar a caminar per el corall!! A la tarda passeig amb l'Abdullah que be ens ensenya les fortificacions i ens explica com els portuguesos, els anglesos, els holandesos i els japonesos han passat en algun moment per aquesta illa!! Li demano per comprar nou moscada i me'n dona de gratis d'estrangis!!!

Abdullah waits for us really excited in the morning to take us to Nailaka Island!! We don't understand why the early leaving but we go for it!! We get to a little island outside Rhun where you have to go early before the tide goes down and we spend the morning contemplating the views!!! We finish walking around the beach and crossing to Rhun once the tide goes down!!! Well tanned they come pick us up as we don't want to walk back through the coral!! In the he afternoon we walk around with Abdullah who shows us the forts and explains how the Portuguese, the English, the Dutsch and the Japanese came through at some point to this island!! I ask him I want to buy some nutmeg and he gives me some for free under the table!!!
