postdoc India: Chiang Mai Day 135: Temple Sightseeing

Despres d'una excursió eterna fins a Chiang Mai, amb dia passat a Bangkok i aprofitat per anar al cine a veure X-Men!!! Per fi a Chiang Mai!! Ciutat al Nord de Tailàndia, molt mes tranquila i vibrant que Bangkok!! Llogat moto també (el Ryan noi que he conegut a l'estacio en llogava una i al final m'he decidit a llogarla ja que era molt barat i m'hagués deixat mes pasta en taxis tot el dia!!), visitat alguns temples i mirat per fer un trek en un parell de dies!!! Al vespre retrobament amb el Thilo i la Sílvia, parella d'Hamburg que vaig conèixer agafant el taxi a Koh Tao!!! El tren fins aquí, tot i mes car que els de la Índia, molt mes còmode i net, tant còmode que a les 9.30 i despres de dormir com 10 hores el revisor m'ha hagut de llevar!!!!

After a really long trip to Chiang Mai, with day spent in Bangkok which I used to go see a movie, X-Men!! Finally in Chiang Mai!! City north of Thailand, much more calmer and vibrant than Bangkok!! Rented a bike too (Ryan the guy I met in the train station was renting one and I finally went with it as it was really cheap and I would have spent more money on taxis!!), visited some temples and checked some treks to do in a couple days!! At night meeting up again with Thilo and Silvia. Couple from Hamburg who I met getting a tXi in Koh Tao!! The train tol here, though more expensive than those in India, much more comfortable and clean, so much that at 9.30 and after sleeping for 10 hours they had to wake me up!!
