postdoc India: Khajuraho Day 53: Sexy Love

Com he dit algun altre dia, un temple es un temple. Pero els de Khajuraho es diferencien per ser els únics temples dedicats a un Deu on s'hi troben figures en posicions romàntiques i sexuals (aviso ja que algunes de les fotografies son pujades de to per si hi ha nens aprop o gent sensible). Pero sensualitat a part el que m'ha impressionat mes d'aquestos temples es el detall de les figures i la bona conservació (part deguda a que Khajuraho es troba bastant remot a l'India i les invasions musulmanes no ho van trobar). El fet de que hi hagui representacions d'actes sexuals (no tots, tot i que siguin la majoria dels fotografiats), es deu a voler donar imatge saludable i natural del sexe (tot i que hi ha una mica de controvèrsia amb el tema doncs no se sap ben be).

A I have said in other occasions, a temple is a temple. But the ones in Khajuraho differ themselves by being the only temples dedicated to a God where you can fins figures in romantic and sexual positions (I warn now that some pictures may not be suitable if having kids or being too sensible). But a side from the sensuality, what has striked me the most of these temples is the detail of the figures and the good conservationist (partly because Khajuraho is pretty remote in India and the Muslim invasions didn't find it). The fact that there are sexual acts represented (not all of them, though yes mainly photographed), is because it's intended to give a natural image of sex (though controversy still about it as it hasn't been solved still).

Funny how excited the guards can get while they show you the places with most erotical figures XDXD
