Avui cambiem d'illa, d'Ai a Rhun!! No hi ha ferry aixi que ens hem de pagar el ferry sencer (som 4 aixi que no surt tant car!!). Marxem de Green Peace Guesthouse on ens despedeixen amb un bon àpat i arribem a Manhattan Guesthouse on ens rep l'Abdullah, un home mooooolt trempat, amb te i pastes!! Tots els nens dels poble ens miren mentres intenten veure si poden pillar una pasta per ells!!! Fem un passeig per la tarda per les plantacions de nou moscada de l'illa!! Aquesta illa de Rhun va ser moneda de canvi el segle XIV entre els anglesos i els holandesos ni mes ni menys per la illa de Manhattan!! Costa de creure que fa 200 anys tinguessin el mateix valor, en aquells temps la nou moscada era una cosa ben preuada!!!
Today we change island, from Ai to Rhun!! There is no ferry so we have to pay our own ferry (we are 4 so not that expensive!!). We leave Green Peace Guesthouse where they farewell us with a great meal and we arrive to Manhattan Guesthouse where Abdullah, a very cool guy, greets us with tea and biscuits!! All the kids in town look at us while they try to sneak a biscuit for themselves!! We walk on the afternoon around the nutmeg plantations!! This island of Rhun was exchanged in the 19th century between the English and the Dutsch for the island of Manhattan!! It's hard to imagine how 200 years ago this two islands had the same value, in those times I guess nutmeg was well worth it!!
