En George Orwell es va basar aqui per escriure la seva novela "Dias en Birmània". Un Poblet amb un encant especial, no te res pero es a la vora del riu amb moltes paradetes de mercat on parar-te a fer un cafè, menjar-te uns noodles, etc. Ens haurem de llegir el llibre per saber la inspiració!!!
George Orwell based here his novel "Burmese days". A town with a special charm, nothing too spectacular but it is on the river side with many food stalls to stop for a coffee, noodles, etc. We will have to read the book to know where the inspiration comes from!!!
