Yangon Day 288: Welcome to Myanmar

Nova parada i nou país!!!

New stop and new country!! I was looking forward to changing country and coming back to Asia!! Not only as it is much cheaper also because you loose the feeling of adventure when traveling western countries!!! Myanmar's border has been open for 4 years to tourism, the airport is like landing in Girona airport (and Yangon is the economical engine of the country)!!! Already with new passport and visa granted time to explore this new country that everybody recommended to go now before it becomes too touristy!!! I land in the middle of a storm, and in the morning I can't do anything beecause of so much rain!! In the afternoon with people of the guesthouse we go to Schwedagon Pagoda where today they are celebrating the full moon and is crowded!! They make us buy a sarong ass we can't enter in shorts!!

It has no motor so the owners climb and hag from it to get it moving!!!

Byron Bay Day 285: Lighthouse and easterly point

Before leaving Byron Bay I run to see the lighthouse and the most easterly point of Australia!!!

Mullumbimby Days 262-285: Wwoofing

Days of not many blog updates, but very intense!!! I've had a blast these last days being a farmer!! An experience I reccomend anyone to learn what we eat!!! For a city boy like me, working on the land with my hands has been an extraordinary change, you can imagine my face the first day they told me to dig my hand in the soil!! 3 weeks of dirty finger nails!! In the afternoons I had a little project that was given to me, do a canal system for the rain from big blocks of concrete breaking them into small pieces with a sledge hammer and putting them piece by piece!!! Earning my food with my sweat!! It was not my turn to leave Australia as I still needed this experience in my baggage!! The feeling of going to pick what you want to eat, fresh herbs and veggies, new layer eggs, etc.!!! Surrounded by hippy hippies with a very good vibe, you can go work for a few hours and get your veggies for the week for free (I wish things like this were available back home). What I have learned is that if you seed good vibes, you pick up good vibes!! For this I want to thank all the amazing people that were wwoofingin the farm as much as Leah, Aaron, Mazzy and Denise!!!!

Mullumbimby Day 275: Smart ass walking from Brunswick to Byron

Leah and Aaron took me and Dee to Brunswick as it was an amazing day to go to the beach and have no car!!! When we got there it was much windier than we expected and so we changed plans!! Dee and I had the wonderful idea of going to Byron (we could see it in the horizon) walking!!! We thought that we'd do it in an hour and a half, but it took us 3 hours (at a steady pace) on sand (with a quick swim in the middle). In Byron Laurent and Dom were waiting for us for a beer and dinner!! Plus there was a surfing festival with live music!!!

Mullumbimby Day 274: Watching down on the valley

Avui després de treballar, migdiada i berenar ens hem escapat a veure la posta de sol (a la costa est d'Australia les postes de sol son per muntanya aixi que una mica caques) i unes vistes espectaculars de la vall on som, gràcies a la Leah i l'Aaron!!!

Today after working, napping and snacking we went to see the sunset (east coast of Australia have sunsets on land so not the best) and beautiful view of the valley where we are thanks to Leah and Aaron!!!
